You know how much I love my red blends, and Rhiannon 2014 red blend fit the bill. My husband came home with this bottle for me a couple of weeks ago and I was so excited to try it. It is a blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Barbera Of course I loved it. It had a deep semi sweet flavor which is exactly what I love.
The winemaker’s notes are “Rhiannon is a delicious blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Barbera with
bright mixed berry aromas layered with expressive toasty oak. The palate
is lush with black berry, Bing cherry, raspberry. Deep ruby color with a
lush mouth-feel and long finish.”
This is the perfect wine to entertain with this winter, it’s warm and delicious and can be bought for about $10 a bottle – a win in my book!
Have any of you tried this wine before? Have you all transitioned to red wines yet with the chilly weather?
Linkup below with Lindsay and I and share what you’ve been drinking – I can’t wait to hear your yummy recommendations!
